About Maggie Scobie

Maggie Scobie has been a member of the Institute for the Advancement of Service for the past 24 years. She co-leads courses and workshops on meditation, dreams, death and dying, soul and service, group consciousness, and working in partnership with nature.  She has served as coordinator of leadership training programs for teenagers, coordinator of children’s programs and co-leader of parenting classes. Maggie serves as a member of the financial prosperity committee and the professional panel.

Maggie holds a graduate degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Florida. She has worked as a licensed psychologist in schools with special needs children and with incarcerated teens. She has a private practice working with critically ill and dying. She has been also a professional astrologer for the past 25 years.  Beginning in 2000, Maggie has served as the founder and director of the One Heart Foundation for Kids, an organization that supports orphanages in Tibet and brings orphans on travel programs to the United Stages from Nicaragua and Ukraine.
